Ren Potts is an animator and indie game developer specializing in 2D art. Originally from New Jersey, they now attend Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. Here, they are studying to obtain a BFA in Animation and Game Arts, chasing a lifelong interest in both mediums.While talented in both 2D and 3D art, Ren specializes in 2D animation and illustration. Most of their animation is for video game characters and environments, focusing on short animation loops and dynamic movement to pull their players into the drivers seat of the world they've crafted. Despite this focus, they continue to pursue and study film and narrative animation to strengthen and fine tune their talent as an animator.Ren's illustration work employs bold colors, dynamic perspective, and clean movements to convey emotional messages and environmental storytelling. Their style varies across pieces, with a clear passion for semi-realism, a well studied usage of pixel art, and an undoubtable love for cartoons.
